Content Types Overview

Content Types are a container for a specified set of components. Think of CTs as page templates, only with a lot more flexibility.  Each content type contains a sub-set of components each with unique design and functionality for text and imagery/video. You’ll be able to add specific components, mix and match, and rearrange them to build a page

Home Page

home page is the top-level page of a website and is typically the first page that visitors will see when they arrive at a website. The home page usually contains an overview of the website, as well as links to the other pages within the website.

Landing Page

A landing page is the section of a website accessed by clicking a hyperlink on another web page, email campaigns, search engine results or social media posts. Often, site users arrive at a landing page without much context, so a landing page needs to be clear, engaging, and contextualizing. Landing pages often are focused on getting users to take a specific action.

Internal Page

Internal pages are any pages within a website other than the homepage. They are the specific pages that users navigate to from the homepage or other internal pages. These pages can vary significantly in content, purpose, and structure depending on the website’s organization.

News/Articles

News is timely content with an official publish date which is displayed in reverse chronological order on the designated page.  News can be sorted with Categories and Tags which help with organization and provide a way for visitors to your site to find the content they need.
