Quotes display an impactful quotation from a person.  lend authenticity to website content by showing where information comes from. They can also break up space on a page. Use this when you want to show testimonials about the benefits of your program or initiative.

Dos

• Limit to one or two sentences
• Relate the quote to the surrounding content
• Provide the source’s name, attribution and headshot

Don’ts

• Avoid using if the content is not attributed to a person or meaningful source
• Don’t overuse on a page. Many quotes can lose their impact.
