Description
Use the Full Image + Text component to layer headings, body copy, and CTAs over a featured image. When positioned at the top of the layout, it serves as the page’s hero section.
Dos and Don’ts
Do
- Prioritize clear, action-oriented calls to action
- When placed a Hero, use clear, direct, keyword-centric copy that instantly tells both users and search bots exactly what the entire landing page is about. If possible, also include who the target audience is, and why it matters to them.
Don’t
- Don’t use overly abstract images. Never use images that are purely decorative or add clutter.
- Don’t exceed 2 CTA links. Giving users too many choices creates decision fatigue and waters down your main conversion goal.
- Don’t use pixelated or blurry photos.
- Do not use an image to present text. True text should be used whenever possible, as it supports translation, is searchable, and is easier to maintain and customize.
Image Requirements
- 16:9 ratio (1920×1080)
- Image size less than 1MB
