Description
Formerly known as a Split Layout, the Image + Text layer is a visually interesting way to section content on the page. Offering a balance of text and visuals, the Image + Text often lead to deeper content and are used on landing page layouts and homepages.
Dos and Don’ts
Do
- Alternate between left and right image options
- Use in full width layouts
Don’t
- Don’t use with large amounts of text (3+ paragraphs)
- Don’t use with low-resolution or low-quality images
Image Requirements
The Image + Text layer uses a 5:4 aspect ratio for landscape-oriented (horizontal) images and a 4:5 ratio for portrait-oriented (vertical) images.
